I saw Dr Cillo for a tooth extraction and then an implant. Dr. Cillo made the process very easy and i experienced very little discomfort and no difficulties. From the first visit he explained everything from start to finish and I knew what to expect along the way. He was very knowledgeable and easy to relate to. The staff at the site worked well together and made it a great experience. When i went to my regular dentist to have the permanent crown made she commented on how well Dr. Cillo's work was and noted she was very impressed and asked for his information. I would highly recommend Dr Cillo for Oral surgery procedures.

Posted by Bobbie Gillespie: Having been told by my dentist that my tooth had to be extracted (as it was cracked from root to crown), I reluctantly went to Dr. Barbosa's office. I was warmly welcomed, filled out the necessary forms and was taken back to the 'the treatment room'. There I was made to feel comfortable and all of my many questions were answered. I was overly concerned as I had had a similar situation 3 years ago and had a terrible extraction with that tooth coming out in bits and pieces! Dr. Barbosa was kind, patient, understanding and very friendly - so appreciated. After the area was prepared, within 5 minutes the tooth was out and in one piece - I didn't feel a thing and actually had to be told - "The tooth is out!" The area was treated and sutured - still felt nothing. All post surgery instructions were completely explained to me. When I emerged with a smile on my face, my husband was quite surprised!!!! I can honestly say that my entire experience from start to finish was great - definitely 5 stars!!! Dr. Nicholaus and his staff are wonderful!!!!!! PS - Never reviewed a dentist before, but felt strongly motivated to do this one!

Though I have an excellent family doctor that I've had for years, I recently had an issue with a tooth (at first, not even correct about which tooth) and was in danger of losing it. I turned to AOMFS for a second opinion and alternatives in case the situation was a bigger problem than it might be. Everyone was kind, knowledgable and immediately understood what was going on, which averted any crisis. The tooth is now fine, saved and I was very fortunate to have such professionals as back-up. We are extremely lucky to have such experts here in Pittsburgh and the tri-state area that give us our great medical reputation and that notoriety to begin with, so you might want to keep them bookmarked if you ever have such a problem or emergency. You won't be sorry!
